Hugh Jackman in a recent appearance on the Empire Film Podcast has revealed about Deadpool 3, in which he will be starring opposite Ryan Reynolds, that both characters hate each other, therefore he will be punching Deadpool in the head a lot. He said “[Logan is] frustrated by him [and] wants to be a million miles away from him or wants to punch him in the head. Unfortunately, he can’t be a million miles away from him in this movie, so I’m probably going to punch him in the head a lot.”

The actor previously told that whatever happens in the Deadpool 3 sequel, will not interfere with the events of the movie ‘Logan‘ which came out in 2017. ‘Logan’ proved to be a swan song for Hugh Jackman as Wolverine’s character was killed off in it.

Hugh Jackman showed a lot of excitement about playing Wolverine once again while talking to Variety. He Said “A little part of me now thinks I’d be better at it. Is that arrogance of age or something? Wolverine’s a tortured character — more tortured than me. But I always get the feeling of him being comfortable in his own skin. And I feel more comfortable in my own skin now, even though it’s messier.”

Deadpool 3 will see both characters together for the first time in the Disney owned Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is gearing up for production in May 2023 and is set to open in theatres on November 8, 2024.
