Mr. Tambourine Man Lyrics Sell For $508K At US Auction

A typewritten draft of Bob Dylan’s iconic song “Mr. Tambourine Man” recently sold for $508,000 at auction. This early version of the 1965 hit includes unused lyrics and reflects Dylan’s creative process. The draft was salvaged by journalist Al Aronowitz in the 1960s after Dylan discarded it while staying at Aronowitz’s home. The pages, long hidden in Aronowitz’s archives, provide a glimpse into the song’s evolution and were part of a larger sale of Dylan memorabilia​
