Flying is one of the best experiences anyone can have, and nearly every person in the present times has gone through it as a passenger on a flying jet. But, not everyone has the experience of flying a plane by themselves. There is a very small percent of people who actually know how to fly, and more than that, flying a plane as a passion is a different experience in its own.

93% of the pilots in the world are male, while only 5% are female. There are many women who are interested in learning to fly a plane as a passion, and the series ‘Learning To Fly’ introduces us to Beth Moran, a young woman who achieved her dreams of becoming a pilot.

The series takes us on a journey along with Beth Moran, whose love of flying leads her to Brighton, where she joins the Sussex Flying Club and starts her training. The series consists of six episodes, each twenty six minutes long.

From episode one till six, we get see her first flight, her giving the exams, learning about runway inspection, paragliding, giving her medical test, flying solo to her taking her father becoming her passenger, on a flight. Beth Moran has gone on to fly with The United States Air Force Thunderbirds as the youngest guest in a F-16 combat jet and bravely pulling 9.2g.
