A release date for the long awaited spinoff of John Wick has just been revealed. The spinoff titled ‘Ballerina’ will release on 7th June, 2024. The titular role of an assassin ballerina named Rooney will be played by Cuban actress Ana De Armas. The story will take place in the John Wick universe and will revolve around a Ruska Roma trained assassin who is out for revenge against the hitmen who murdered her family.

The cast will include Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, the late Lance Reddick, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus and Ian McShane. Keanu Reeves would also be making a special appearance in the movie.

Ballerina, directed by Len Wiseman, will have its events take place between the events of John Wick Chapter 3 – Parabellum and Chapter 4.

This will be the third time Ana will be working alongside Keanu. Previously both actors worked in Knock Knock and Exposed.
