SIX CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED BIFF SELECTIONS TO BE SCREENED IN THE 10TH LONDON KOREAN FILM FESTIVAL 2015

The 10th London Korean Film Festival 2015, which will run from 2nd to 14th of November will screen a selection of critically acclaimed films shown in Busan International Film festival for the UK audience.

Six films have been selected from the last year’s Busan International Film Festival giving an opportunity to the audiences to watch some unique stories along with some new styles of film making.

Following are the selected films:

Directed by Kim Dae-hwan, and starring Moon Chang-gil, Lee Young-Ian, Kim Min- hyuk, Lee Sang-hee, Heo Je-won.
This film is a thorny family drama in which a family is trapped together in a tiny apartment because of heavy snowfall, which gives them an unexpected opportunity to be with each other.

Director Hong Seok-jae brings together his cast including Byun Yohan, Lee Ju- seung, Ha Yoon-kyung, Ryu Jun-yeol and tackles with the topic of the increase of suicide and Cyberbullying in the South Korean society.

The film directed by Kim Tae-yong tells the story of a boy, who desperately battles for security against his fears and loneliness which are thrust upon him by social adversities. The film stars Choi Woo-shik, Kim Su-hyun, Kang Sin- cheol, Shin Jae-ha, Park Joo-hee and Jang Yoo-sang.

This cleverly directed film by Baek Jae-ho, revolves around an actor whose ultimate wish is to star in a film sent into the Busan International Film Festival, but faces dejection when the film he gets to star in is cancelled. Starring Kim Sang-seok and Lee hwa, the film also tackles with love.
