1st London East Asia Film Festival 2016 Official Poster Revealed

The 1st London East Asia Film Festival 2016 Official Poster has been revealed. This will be the first edition of the new film festival show casing filmmakers, directors, actors and films from the far east Asia. The film festival will run from 20th to 30th October 2016. Director Kim Jee Woon‘s film The Age Of Shadows starring Song Kang Ho and Gong Yoo will be screened as the Opening Gala In Leicester Square Odeon at 19:30.

PARK CHAN WOOK WILL KICK START LONDON EAST ASIA FILM FESTIVAL 2016 WITH ‘HANDMAIDEN’ AND A RETROSPECTIVE

A special Retrospective has also been arranged for the internationally well established South Korean film director Park Chan Wook, who will introduce his latest film ‘Handmaiden‘ on 21st October. He will then go on to introduce his famous Vengeance Trilogy on 22nd October, 2016. The special Retrospective would focus on his earlier works which will include feature films and shorts. The films shown in the retrospective will include Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance, Oldboy and the 4K restoration of Lady Vengeance. The Retrospective will run throughout the film festival.

The full Film Festival Schedule will be released on 20th September, 2016.
