Fifty Shades of Grey just had its World Premiere at the 65th Berlinale International Film Festival, where swarms of fans of the book written by E L James, waited for the stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson who adapted the roles of 27-year-old handsome billionaire Christian Grey and innocent college student Anastasia Steele. The reception was one of the best and had left the two co-stars dominating the red carpet. The ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Trilogy became a No. 1 seller upon its release and got translated into 51 languages worldwide and sold more than 100 million copies in e-book and print.

Director Sam Taylor-Johnson took it upon himself to direct this film. The casting of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele was one of the most talked about in Hollywood, and after thorough auditions Jamie Dorman and Dakota Johnson were selected to play the roles. It only took 9 1/2 weeks to shoot the entire film, and each cast member learned their lines in 5 days.

Shot entirely in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, the movie revolves around a college girl Anastasia Steele who falls in love with a billionaire Christian Grey. The two individuals thus discover their intimacy for each other and embark into a forbidden world. We hope that the movie, like the book, gets the same treatment.
