24TH RAINDANCE FILM FESTIVAL GIVES TRIBUTE TO STEVEN SPIELBERG The official trailer for the 24^th annual Raindance Film Festival has arrived! Directed by award-winning Brazilian filmmaker, Filippo Capuzzi Lapietra, the trailer is a tribute to filmmaking legend Steven Spielberg, a man who for decades, has undoubtedly influenced and inspired film lovers and filmmakers across the globe.

Lapietra, who last month won a Young Director Award for the trailer during the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, captures the inner child in all of us, taking us on a journey from when we first discovered the film that ignited our passion for the art form.

The 24^th annual Raindance Film Festival will take place from September 21- October 2, 2016 in London’s West End.  A champion of independent filmmaking, the Festival is the largest of its kind in Europe.

Showcasing feature, documentary and short films, music videos and a web series, the Festival has recently announced a new virtual reality strand and will also continue its outreach to industry through its co-production and industry days forums.

The programme for this year’s Raindance Film Festival will be announced on Thursday, August 25^th, 2016.
