Actor Benedict Cumberbatch, who has worked opposite Tahir Rahim in the film ‘The Mauritanian’, has called on President Joe Biden to close the Guantanamo Bay detention camp.

The actor who has produced the movie as well as has starred in it, got a crash course on everything about Guantanamo Bay detention camps, because of which he has called out to the president to close the horrendous camp.

“It’s an atrocious own goal for the free world to be incarcerating people through extraordinary rendition, torturing them and extracting confessions they think are then usable in prosecution,” said Cumberbatch
